Info: Marielena "Mari" Hernández was born to an American mother and a Costa Rican father in Costa Rica. She is a dual citizen.
She is originally from San Jose, but her family traveled to Guanacaste a lot during her childhood, and she moved to Tamarindo in 2004 full time. Her prior experience includes retail and working in a doctor´s office. She wanted a change in her life, and was very happy to move to the coast.
